Minneapolis Resists: Essays, Fiction, Interviews provides an account of the ways in which the city of Minneapolis has fashioned a unique mode of resistance. Resistance to all kinds of attacks on the people of the city. Attacks from the state, attacks by the police. This collection features poetry, a short story, essays and interviews by a range of contributors, each of whom has a deep commitment to Minneapolis. These contributions reveal not only the history of resistance by the residents of the city but also the ways in which Minneapolis has made itself into a model for not only national modes of resistance, but, indeed, across the wider world.
